2ndHnd Zine

This zine was created for my Type 2 class. The zine is centered around second hand clothing, very playful and eclectic. I hand embroidered the logotype, and kept a simple color palette, imitating posters being printed on color paper. For this first spread, I used my own clothes to create the title.

Process

Most of the zine is made in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, but I did create some of the elements using physical media. For the logotype for the zine, I hand embroidered the 2 and H. For the “Why You Should Buy Everything Used”, I arranged my clothes to create the title. Lastly, the “Check It Out” spreads were made by printing out assets, cutting them up, rearranging and scanning in.
